How to use an animation box
- Each animated figure has a plug for each piece that animates.
- In the T-Rex example, the right arm moves up and down.
- When you look at the figure unlit it will look like the t-rex has 3 arms.
- to animate him you would use a 1-2 chase box (which means the power turns on first plug #1, turns off plug #1, and turns on plug #2 and then off and then repeats).
- You should find a plug for the top right arm and plug that into the plug labeled #1
- Find the plug for the bottom right arm and plug that into the plug labeled #2
- The body of the t-rex will plug directly into your power source.
- Plug the animation box and the t-rex body in together and his right arm should wave up and down.

Trouble Shooting
Animation boxes are prone to issues. If you encounter an animation box that does not work when you plug it in, give it to Cagney to be fixed. Most likely there is a blown fuse inside the box which can be fixed.
Animation Box Care
- Animation boxes do not light water!! They have electronic components inside and are not made to stay outside as is.
- Once you have plugged everything into the animation box and tested everything, you will need to put the animation box into one of the plastic tubs provided.
- Each tub has a hole in the side for the cords to run through and a snap on lid
- You will then put the tub in a plastic bag (usually a garbage bag), wrap it around the cords, and use a zip tie to secure it to the cords to keep the moisture out.
- If possible tip or lean the box so the cords come out towards the bottom.
